Northern Soul is not a compilation of leftover clips. This is a planned, directed piece of work where every section is intentional. Athletes from across the north will be contributing their strongest material to a single cohesive film that stands as a complete project in its own right.
The northern England parkour scene has produced some of the most talented athletes in the country. Yet their contributions have been scattered across different projects, different platforms, different visions. Northern Soul brings that talent together under one roof, with one creative direction, creating something the community has talked about for years but nobody has properly executed.
Directed and produced by Breach Culture, this project treats parkour with the same production values you would expect from a skateboarding or surfing film. Original score. Considered editing. Proper colour grade. A soundtrack that sits right. Transitions that matter. Timing that counts.
Northern Soul is in production now. Athletes across the north are contributing footage. The creative team is shaping raw material into something with genuine weight and presence. This is what happens when you pool resources, align vision, and commit to making something that will still matter in five years.
Release is planned for Summer 2026. When it arrives, it will represent the depth, skill, and culture of northern parkour in a way that's never been done before.
